If you have ever dreamed of life at sea, travel
and beautiful sunsets, this is your program! California Monterey
State Monterey Bay's Study at Sea program is co-sponsored
with the California Maritime Academy. Participants live and
study with cadets from CMA aboard their training ship, The
Golden Bear. A 500-foot ex-navy oceanographic vessel, The
Golden Bear is a unique living laboratory that offers CSU
Monterey Bay students (referred to as cadets) two months of
shipboard experience, classroom instruction, and a unique
international travel experience.
Cruise 2006 is headed to South and Central
America. The itinerary for the program is Mexico, Peru,
Chile, and Costa Rica.
