Eligibility

All persons over 18 years of age and qualify to register for CSUMB are eligible to participate in CSUMB's Study at Sea program.

Study at Sea welcomes individuals from CSU Monterey Bay, other CSU students, students from community coleges, Universities, out of state, international students and even individuals who are not currently enrolled in a degree program.

Fees may differ due to current education status, but all are welcome.

However, you have to accomplish a few tasks and pay the associated fees.

All students/participants must:

Register for the CSUMB Study at Sea program
Pass a drug screening test (administered by CSUM)
Complete the application forms
Complete health exam and up-to-date on vaccinations
Register for a minimum of two 3+ unit courses
Register for the 3 mandatory - 1 unit courses
Have a valid passport
Fingerprints recorded (administered by CSUM)
Pay all associated fees by designated deadlines
