What is Study at Sea?

Study at Sea is an innovative program that allows students from all across California to complete a full semester's worth of CSU Curriculum on board the Training Ship Golden Bear as it travels to various destinations in the Pacific ocean. Classes take place six days a week and each destination serves as the focal point for field work.

The GOLDEN BEAR, a 500-foot, 16,000 ton, ex-navy oceanographic survey ship and it offers student the learning experience of a lifetime.
